Allison
Eldredge • Artistic
Director & Cello
Heralded as "a musician of remarkable gifts"
by the Chicago Tribune, cellist Allison Eldredge has
captivated audiences throughout the world. On the occasion
of her Carnegie Hall debut in 1995, the New York Times
hailed Ms. Eldredge as "an impassioned and focused
soloist." She has been soloist with the New York
Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony,
Los Angeles Philharmonic, St. Louis Symphony, St. Paul
Chamber Orchestra, Utah Symphony, Boston Pops, Montreal
Symphony, Moscow Virtuosi, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony,
China National Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, |
Hague Philharmonic, New World Symphony,
and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, with conductors
Barenboim, Mehta, Previn, Dutoit, Slatkin, Vonk, Spivakov,
and Commissiona. |

Ms. Eldredge is a recipient of
the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, and also
has had the honor of performing at the White House.
She studied at the Juilliard School, where her teachers
included Harvey Shapiro and Felix Galimir. Her recordings
appear on the Denon, BMG Classics, and Pony Canyon labels.
Ms. Eldredge has given masterclasses at Boston University,
the University of Southern California, University of
Iowa, University of Texas, University of Kansas, Brigham
Young University, and the University of Colorado, and
is a member of the Boston
Trio.
