Cellist An-Lin Bardin completed her undergraduate degree in Geology and Geophysics at Yale University. She then went on to pursue her Masters Degree at the Yale School of Music as a student of Aldo Parisot, where she was a member of the Yale Cellos. She has coached with members of the Tokyo, the Emerson, the Vermeer, and the Colorado String Quartets. As part of the graduate quartet in residence at University of Colorado at Boulder, she served as an assistant to the Takács Quartet and studied under András Fejér.

An avid proponent of contemporary music, she has appeared as a guest artist with the mixed-instrumentation ensemble Clogs in New York's Symphony Space - "a compelling performance" (NY Times). She has toured in Michigan and Washington with Loop 2.4.3, a vibrant Brooklyn-based percussion duo. She has collaborated with various composers in the New Haven area, played for the independent films, and recorded for several rock bands.
