Killington Music Festival

Music in the Mountains for 30 Seasons

HISTORY
Now in its 30th season, the Killington Music Festival, a non-for-profit organization, is the only resident professional classical music organization in central Vermont. Each summer about 100 students gather at Killington from institutions such as the Juilliard School of Music, Boston Conservatory, The New England Conservatory, The Manhattan School of Music, Peabody Conservatory, Eastman School of Music and the University of Arizona. These musicians come to the area to play chamber music and to teach string students. Performances by the faculty and invited guest artists have made the Festival a mainstay of summer culture in the region. The young musicians who attend the Killington Residency Program are graduate, college and talented high school students. Many of our students, as well as many alumni, are members of chamber groups and orchestras in the United States as well as in other countries.

HELP KEEP MUSIC ALIVE!
There are several ways that your gift helps spread music throughout Vermont and beyond...

Each summer the Killington Music Festival awards scholarships to many of our residency students. This past year the Festival awarded over $60,000 in scholarships to the best and most talented students. But even this amount is not enough to meet the need. Each year we turn away many dedicated students because we cannot offer them financial assistance. They need our help. Your gift can help us attract more highly talented and deserving young artists.

Please e-mail us or copy this form and mail to Killington Music Festival, P. O. Box 386, Rutland, VT 05702
