New KMF Artistic Director Announced
The Killington Music Festival is pleased to announce the
appointment of Heng-Jin Park
as Artistic Director.
Ms. Park has been on the faculty of the Killington Music
Festival for the past 7 years. She is a founding member
and current pianist of The Boston Trio, which has served
as trio-in-residence at Killington. With the Boston Trio,
Ms. Park has performed internationally in some of the
most respected concert series and venues, including Carnegie
Hall, Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, Merkin Concert Hall in
New York, the Celebrity Series in Boston, UCLA, BYU, Sanibel
Festival in Florida, Harvard University and Kolarac Hall
in Belgrade, Serbia. The Trio has been ensemble-in-residence
at the Academy of Arts and Sciences and is currently in
residence at the New England Conservatory Preparatory
School. In past summers Ms. Park has performed and taught
at the International Musical Arts Institute and Festival
in Maine. She was also previously Artist/Faculty at the
Yellow Barn Music School and Festival in Putney, Vermont.

In addition to her performing
activities, Ms. Park enjoys an international reputation
as a teacher. As a chamber music coach and program
co-coordinator of one of Harvard University’s
chamber music courses, she has received the Certificate
of Distinction in Teaching award three times. She
is also on the piano faculty at MIT and the New
England Conservatory Prep. School. Ms. Park has
taught chamber music at Tanglewood Music Center,
and gives frequent master classes worldwide, including
at Brigham Young University, the Longy School of
Music, Penn State University, and the University
of Kansas.
